PTFA

Parent Teacher Friend Assosciation

The PTFA is a volunteer body made up of parents, teachers and friends of the school, who according to the school ethos, join forces together to strengthen the school community.
Since June 2010, we have held our meetings on a monthly basis. Everyone is welcome to attend, as all parents at the school are automatically members of the community.

Each of our meetings are opened and closed with this verse, read by 2 or 3 members

The healthy social life is found
When, in the mirror of each individual soul,
the whole community finds its reflection,
and when in the community
the soul virtue of each one, is working.

Rudolf Steiner

There is a core group of parents working hard to strengthen the key support groups within the school. These key support groups are:

• Publicity group ( marketing, website, etc )
• Festival/events group
• Craft group
• Building, Environment and Maintenance group
• Fundraising group
• Kitchen maintenance group
• Workshop group
• Study group

Although the parents within the school are very active, we do need more help to form stronger support groups.
Please contact your class convenor or Fatima Moura Sheppard if you can help. We are looking for support in all groups so please think where you may be able to help.

Meeting dates for the PTFA will usually be announced in advance in the weekly newsletter. The meeting date will also be shown on the website calendar and school noticeboard.

The meeting is open to all parents, teachers and friends of the school and everyone will be most welcome.
